Dear Friend,
This weekend, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and preserve our freedom. These Americans were sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and friends who are loved, mourned, and missed each and every day.
South Jersey families have not been spared the pain of losing a loved one in the line of duty. My heart is with them and every Gold Star family whose loved ones gave their lives to give us the chance to build a more perfect union. These families’ love and support allowed our heroes to do their jobs, and this Memorial Day we remember with them.
This weekend and every day, my heart is with the loved ones of those lost in the line of duty as we honor and remember their courage and sacrifice. It’s up to us to carry on the mission of these heroes, whose legacy is our freedom.
