Today, I’d like to pause for a moment and reflect on the fallen heroes who gave their lives to protect our country.

Our service members, veterans, and their families have made the ultimate sacrifice so that freedom, democracy, and security may endure. That’s why I hope you’ll join me in extending my sincerest gratitude to our fallen service members and their families.

I will continue to ensure that our nation’s 18.2 million veterans and their families receive care and benefits worthy of the sacrifices they’ve made on behalf of our country.
