John, can I share one of my golden rules when it comes to any campaign?
Don’t take votes for granted. Not a single one.
I keep a map of Newark’s Central Ward behind my Senate office desk to remember what a woman named Virginia Jones told me — a local tenant leader who helped me win my first election to the city council in 1998:
“Boy, don’t forget where you came from and who sent you.”
So while Donald Trump’s claims of putting New Jersey in play certainly strain credulity, it doesn’t mean I’m taking a single vote for granted this November — not in Jersey, and not in a single state or congressional district across the country.
This election will be won or lost based on voter turnout, which is why it’s so critical that we fully fund our voter outreach efforts here in New Jersey and across the country. I’m counting on your support, John. Can you contribute $3?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Whether you are a teacher in Newark’s Central Ward or a nurse in Camden, every vote and every voice will have a tremendous impact on the outcome of this race.
And the grassroots donations our campaign receives will help us build a campaign strategy to maximize voter turnout in New Jersey while supporting the most consequential battleground races across the country.
I’m not taking a single voter for granted. Will you help our campaign talk to them by contributing $3 today?
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
With love and gratitude,
Cory
