John – Since emailing you about Governor Ron DeSantis, I’ve had people tell me to stop using the word fascist.

But I won’t stop. This is what’s going on, and we need to call DeSantis’ abuse of power for what it is: fascism.

I won’t tone down my language when WEEK AFTER WEEK, communities in Florida are actively being oppressed and scapegoated for DeSantis’ own political gain.

John – In just the past few months, DeSantis has doubled-down on his fascist attacks against Floridians:

❌A new bill was passed to expand the “Don’t Say Gay” law in schools up to 12th grade, furthering far-right efforts to legislate LGBTQ+ youth out of existence,

❌He’s cracking down on his opposition with a proposed law that would require bloggers and independent journalists who write about him or other officials to register with the state or face fines,

❌And while this is all underway, he’s touring the country and collecting checks from GOP mega-donors to fund his Presidential campaign launch.

I’m telling you this because we can’t let these fascists takeover our state. We can’t stand for it. And we can’t stay quiet.
