Trump’s tax cuts made millionaires, billionaires, and corporations *even richer* to the tune of billions of dollars. Wealth inequality is skyrocketing — working people are just trying to scrape by while health insurance executives, Wall Street high rollers, and fossil fuel CEOs bring in big profits. We need our movement to stand with Bernie.

34% of big corporations paid nothing in federal income taxes in the first year of the Trump tax cuts. Trump’s tax cuts slashed capital gains taxes, so that wealthy shareholders can make more money off of their millions and billions. The ultra-rich like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are benefitting at every turn.
Republicans and their right-wing billionaire donors want to protect their bounty of tax loopholes while trying to cut Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid. In fact, the Social Security Board just reported that taxing the rich is desperately needed in order to keep Social Security funded. It’s the only way forward.
Until we raise taxes on the ultra-wealthy, billionaires will continue exerting a tremendous amount of power over our political system and wreaking havoc on our social safety net.
