Just a few months ago, Governor Tony Evers signed into law a new set of fair legislative maps for Wisconsin that put both the House and Senate in play for Democrats.

The creation of new state legislature maps in Wisconsin was a huge win for democracy and our fight for free and fair elections.
Republicans have controlled our state legislature since 2011 thanks to their abuse of power and extreme gerrymandering.
They have blocked attempt after attempt to bring fairness to our state elections. But after a decade of hard work, we have finally secured justice.
If we can flip both the House and the Senate this year, Democrats can get to work on long-overdue priorities, from voting rights, to gun violence prevention, and climate action.
I know not everyone reading this is from Wisconsin, but this year’s legislative elections will affect all of us, across the country.
Because we can’t win the White House without Wisconsin, and Republicans have shown time and time again they will use the power of the state legislature to thwart our democracy.
