[SURVEY] Our movement’s next steps forward
John —
Bernie Sanders is no longer running for president. For many of us, that truth remains painful to accept. Although Bernie’s name will stay on the ballot in the remaining primary states, Joe Biden will be the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee.
As Bernie continues to accumulate delegates ahead of the Democratic National Convention to ensure that the Democratic Party represents our progressive ideas, our movement must decide how we move forward.
John, you are an important member of this movement. Answer this survey to let us know your thoughts about how Our Revolution should move forward in our ongoing struggle for justice.

The challenges that face our country and our planet are unprecedented. We face a wildly destructive authoritarian president who must be defeated, a global pandemic that is ravaging our health and our economy, and a global climate crisis that we’ve barely begun to address.
We fought for Bernie because we believed he was the best candidate to lead us through all of this. Bernie inspired a multi-racial, multi-generational mass movement of working people capable of enacting real progressive changes. In this dire time, we have no choice but to continue building a stronger movement.
Despair is not an option. Neither of Bernie’s presidential campaigns were ever about him — they were always about you. Electoral campaigns are inherently temporary, and the only path toward real justice for working people is long-term mass mobilization and participation in the political process.
Our Revolution was founded to outlast Bernie’s campaigns, and if we continue organizing, we will succeed in transforming our country. Please take our survey and tell us what you think about our movement’s path forward.
Never allow anyone to undermine our movement’s accomplishments. In a short period of time, we have completely changed American politics for the better. Your choices, your willingness to fight for your neighbors, and your belief in a country founded on love and compassion helped a true progressive champion come within reach of the Democratic presidential nomination.
Beyond that, you’ve already helped a new generation of progressive leaders begin to transform the Democratic Party from the bottom up. From Chesa Boudin in San Francisco to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York, the seeds of a progressive future have taken root across the country.
But John: our opponents are disciplined. The billionaires who fund politicians and the corporate media feared a Bernie Sanders presidency. After Bernie won the first three primary contests in a row, the establishment broke with precedent and united to stop him.
We must match their discipline. For nearly four years, Our Revolution has organized against corporate power to transform the Democratic Party from the bottom up. Our accomplishments are solidified, but our struggle against the greed of the corporate elite continues.
Our Revolution will endure. Help us continue organizing to build a long-term movement powerful enough to end the wealthy elite’s control of our democracy by answering our survey today.
