Dear Friend,
Tomorrow, we celebrate Memorial Day by honoring the soldiers
who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. We also reflect
on the veterans who served bravely and are now fighting a new battle:
Alzheimer's disease.
You have a very special opportunity to help these heroes
- and every person battling Alzheimer's and all other dementia
- by giving now during our One-Week 2X Match Challenge. We have
a donor who wishes to remain anonymous to thank for offering this
match challenge. This generous supporter has pledged a gift of $50,000
to advance critical Alzheimer's research and has agreed to match every
gift we receive by May 30. But to meet the challenge, we all need to
do our part by raising that same $50,000 amount by the end of this
week. Will you

Did you know that:
* In 2022, an estimated 451,000 veterans were living with
Alzheimer's, and more than 130,000 new cases were diagnosed.
* Post-traumatic stress disorder has been linked to an increased
risk of dementia and is two to five times more common in
veterans.
* Veterans with dementia are 2.6 times more likely to be
hospitalized than other veterans - and hospital stays are,
on average, 2.4 times longer.
Thanks to our supporters, we've made immense progress in the
fight against Alzheimer's, for our veterans and all those impacted by
this cruel disease. More treatments are being developed and more care
and support resources are reaching more people who need them. But we
need your help to keep progress moving forward, and we need it today.
This Memorial Day weekend, give in honor of a hero while your
gift can go 2X as far to fight Alzheimer's.

Your support today can go TWICE as far to accelerate research
toward developing new treatments and help those living with the
disease and their caregivers get the care and support they need.
Thanks to your support this holiday weekend, we can be here
for people living with Alzheimer's - and the people who care
about them. Friend, in honor
of our heroes, please make a gift to our One-Week 2X Match Challenge
while your gift can make 2X the impact. This important challenge ends
this week. Please don't wait to give.

The need to act has never been more urgent. The number of
people living with Alzheimer's in the United States is expected to
double to nearly 13 million by 2050. By taking this opportunity to
DOUBLE your impact now, you can help reduce these odds and perhaps
even change the very course of Alzheimer's. Think about the difference
you can make today when you take action with your first gift while it
can be matched up to $50,000.
