Hung Cao, the MAGA election denier who wants to represent Virginia in the U.S. Senate, just showed his true colors (again).

When a reporter asked him about questionable spending by his affiliated super PAC, he dismissed the entire investigation as a “hit job” by a “podunk local newspaper.”

Days later, Cao said it would be “ridonkulous” to participate in a forum in Abingdon. 🙄🙄

If this is what Hung Cao thinks of our Commonwealth, how can he be expected to represent Virginians in the Senate? 

The truth is, Cao’s ignorant and offensive comments reveal what we’ve always known: He has no interest in representing Virginia — he just wants to gain a platform to suck up to Donald Trump by peddling MAGA lies.

And the rest of the GOP field isn’t any better — it’s a motley crew filled with election deniers, MAGA extremists, and Trump acolytes. It’s incredibly important that we build a strong grassroots movement to defeat whoever they nominate.
