North Carolina’s First Congressional district is a battleground! So, if you missed my previous emails, here’s a quick rundown:

North Carolina state lawmakers have redrawn the district maps, making this the only competitive race in NC.
The Cook Political Report has rated my race as a “toss-up.”
Now, experts say I am the #5 most vulnerable House member, and the outside special interest groups are spending millions to try to unseat me.

Given the North Carolina General Assembly redrew the congressional map, it's no surprise how competitive this race will be. We need your help to protect this seat.

Therefore, I must ask you again: Would you be willing to pitch in $5, $20, or more to keep this seat for eastern North Carolina families? With your help, we can ensure our voices here in eastern North Carolina are heard in Washington, DC.
