You read that exactly right. National Republicans feel so threatened by pro-democracy, pro-choice, pro-progress campaigns like ours that they’re spending nearly THREE MILLION DOLLARS to flood the airwaves right here in our district.

The Congressional Leadership Fund β€” a dark money group supported by MAGA Speaker Mike Johnson β€” wants to intimidate Team Vasquez into giving up. But, let’s be honest, this just shows that MAGA Republicans are the ones running scared.

One thing we know is that when Republicans pour money into a race, that means they’re worried. They know how strong our team is, and they know how much the federal funding and common sense policies I have delivered resonates with voters.

Republicans want an edge over us, but we can’t let that happen. Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is coming up next Friday, and we’re at risk of being outspent. My finance director tells me we need to raise $15K before the end of the month in order to remain competitive. Can I count on your support today? [[link removed]]

This race is one of just EIGHT Democratic toss-up races in the House , so we don’t have a single second to waste. In 2022, I beat my MAGA extremist opponent by just 1,350 votes. In 2024, it could be even closer β€” and we can’t risk the chance of losing.

Right now, we’re up against an anti-choice extremist who would rather uphold the will of extremists like Donald Trump and Mike Johnson than address the pressing issues that matter to New Mexico’s second district.

John, I didn’t run for Congress to selfishly prop up an establishment party agenda. I ran for Congress to fight for New Mexico and defend our freedoms that Republicans are putting at risk.

I know I keep saying this, but it’s just that important: This is one of the most critical election years of our lives. The outcome of Election Day will define the future of NM-02, reproductive healthcare access and our democracy.

I’m proud to represent this district and I’m proud to continue fighting tooth and nail to protect reproductive freedom, our public lands and our democracy. But if we’re going to be successful, I need your help right now.
