This is one of my favorite times of year, folks.
Across the country, Americans are celebrating all sorts of graduations — from high schools and colleges to trade schools and community colleges. This is going to open so many doors of opportunity for these graduates.
I was fortunate enough to receive a college education. My Mom and Dad worked so hard to make sure that one day I could walk across that stage and earn my diploma.
After I received my bachelor's degree, I put myself through graduate school as a working mom – earning a master's degree in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware.
My education helped me get to where I am today, and I want to make sure that young people across this country all have the equal opportunity to cross the graduation stage. I will always support public education and programs to eliminate student loan debt so that everyone can have access to a quality education — not just a few.
It's only with support from folks like you that we can ensure protecting public education is a priority in Washington. Can you rush $25 to help us meet our end-of-month goal, defend our Democratic Senate majority, and help me make history once again?
