Friend, I'm running to defeat Rick Scott — and the results of this election could determine which party controls the Senate. Here's what you need to know about my race:

First, election analysts from CNN, FiveThirtyEight, and Roll Call ranked Rick Scott as one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot this fall.

Then, a new poll showed that the experts were right — this race is already a statistical tie! Floridians are sick and tired of Rick Scott threatening to take away their rights, raising their costs, and trying to end the Social Security and Medicare benefits they’ve worked hard for.

Now, with grassroots momentum on our side, experts are calling this race Democrats' best chance to expand the Senate majority and stop Rick Scott, who's officially running for Senate Republican leader, from taking power.

If we fall short here, it'll be a massive setback. And Rick Scott, Mitch McConnell, and all their megadonors will undoubtedly weaponize that setback against me.
