John,
I don’t want to pass up the chance to wish everyone a happy Easter weekend, Passover week, and a wonderful spring season.
Regardless of culture, race, or religion, springtime marks the season of hope, renewal, and warmth for all of us. And despite the difficult times we are in, I hope the warmer winds bring us some relief -- both literally and in our spirits.
I am heartened by all the stories of neighbors helping each other, the brave medical workers at the frontlines, and families coming together to shoulder through this crisis -- all with warmth in their hearts. I was so inspired to see well over a thousand people sign our card to the essential workers who are still on the job keeping this country moving. This is a clear example of how our community can and will overcome this present challenge.
While you practice social distancing, please make sure you are not socially isolated. Whether that means Zoom, Google Meet, or a good old-fashioned phone call, make some time to connect with friends and family. Remember that you are not alone -- we are all in this together.
I know we will get through this, stronger and more united than ever.
Stay healthy,
Matt
