John, was it really just a week ago?
Right now the SAS team is hyper-busy on election footing. But we just had to message, one week on, to thank all who joined our Paddle-Out Protests. IT WAS EPIC.
We have hundreds of photos to get through, but here's some of the highlights. [[link removed]] 📸
And we didn't just protest. Nearly 7,000 of you took digital action for the ocean too, sending our campaign message to Ofwat, and to politicians in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Together, we are demanding the end to profiteering and the prioritisation of ending sewage pollution ✊🌊
And now, the general election has been announced. You know what that means. It's all systems go for Surfers Against Sewage as we work to keep ocean conservation on the top of the political and public agenda. Thanks for being with us.
John, this election is an opportunity like no other at a critical time for ocean-saving policy and we'll will be supercharging our campaigns over the next six weeks.
We're determined to show candidates from every political party that protecting our seas, rivers and the ocean is a massive priority for voters. But it's going to take everything our we've got, and more.
Will you support us, this election year, by becoming a member?👇
