Last Wednesday 15th May, SPUC's Alithea Williams delivered an emotive call to MPs urging them to oppose recent attempts to decriminalise abortion, at a Westminster rally saying 'No to Abortion up to birth'. The threat of decriminalisation in the UK has thankfully been averted for the time being, with Wednesday's General Election announcement meaning that the amendments to the Criminal Justice Bill, that sought to decriminalise abortion and permit it up to birth, will not be debated.

Just recently over 200 pro-lifers gathered in central Edinburgh for SPUC's 2024 Pro-life Chain! It was an incredibly uplifting day with very much a feeling of solidarity and strength.Â
Many other SPUC Chains took place around the UK, and we thank all of you who were involved!
If you were there, see if you can spot yourself in this highlights video!
