Welcome to our weekly Bowman Newsletter, for shout-outs, updates, and future events. As valued members of #TeamBowman, your dedication, and hard work are driving our campaign toward victory. Here's what's been happening and what's coming up:
This past week, we’ve already knocked 4,500 doors and made over 49,861 calls to voters throughout the district about why the election is so critical. Volunteers - like you - are doing the hard work that keeps the campaign strong, showing up for Bowman throughout the district! Thanks to your tireless efforts, momentum is building across NY16. We're seeing increased support and engagement from voters who resonate with Congressman Jamaal Bowman's vision for our district. Organized people beat organized money every time, so if we keep this momentum up, we will win.
The cross-movement community rallying behind Bowman is the core of the campaign. The support for Bowman goes beyond any racial, gender, religious, and generational barriers. Thank you to all organizations, and student and community groups hosting and participating in events. Thank you to everyone supporting fundraisers. The Windsor Terrace fundraiser this past Monday raised $14,512! The host community and donor support are critical to powering our campaign and movement for bold, progressive change.
Our grassroots outreach initiatives continue to make an impact. Whether it's phone banking, door knocking, or hosting community events, your efforts are helping us connect with voters on a personal level. We still need 7,142 doors knocked this weekend to reach our goal. Luckily, this is an exciting weekend with tons of fun community and volunteer events for everyone to join!
