Hi John,

Do you want safer, more environmentally sustainable, financially stable, and well-maintained transportation choices for all Oregonians?

Join our Transportation Campaign Briefing with community organizations from throughout Oregon! OLCV is working with active transportation, climate, and environmental justice groups to pass forward-thinking legislation in 2025 to benefit every Oregonian in urban and rural communities. The Oregon Joint Committee on Transportation announced a 2024 listening tour to gather input on how to fund and invest in transportation in 2025. Each stop on the listening tour will include a public hearing, which you can participate in - and we’re here to help you prepare!

We’ll be hosting virtual and in-person briefings around the state to help you and your community prepare to make your voices heard at each one of these stops. The tour’s first stop will be in Portland at PCC Cascades (705 N Killingsworth St) on June 4th at 5 PM, so we’re kicking off the summer with a briefing to help our Portland-area partners get ready:

Register for our Transportation Campaign Briefing on May 28th, 6pm-7pm on Zoom!

This briefing is for anyone interested in writing or giving testimony at the Downtown Portland listening tour stop on June 4th; if you’re not in Portland, you’re still invited to learn more about the legislative path to safe, clean, fair, and accountable transportation. We’ll share:

  • What’s at stake in the 2025 session
  • Key messages or stories to share with legislators
  • How you can make your voice heard in the listening tour and beyond!

Register in advance for this meeting here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please email [email protected] with any questions. Please share this invitation with your friends, networks, and communities, and save the date for a listening tour stop near you!

We hope to see you there!
