Dear Friends,

Every Easter, families and friends gather to celebrate Christ and to reflect on our blessings. Although our Easter gatherings may look different this year, I pray that everyone celebrating has a happy Easter.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who may be unable to spend the Easter holiday with their families, and to the families impacted by the Coronavirus. I am especially grateful for our brave healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers, and all of the front-line heroes battling the Coronavirus. Protecting the health and safety of Louisiana families is my top priority and I will continue working with federal, state, and local officials to accelerate Louisiana’s response efforts and our capabilities in fighting COVID-19.

Additionally, while many of my staff are teleworking, my offices are open and available by phone, email and through my website so that we can respond to all constituent questions and concerns. I will continue to keep my website updated with the most accurate and timely information related to the Coronavirus crisis.
