Non-Emergency City Facilities Closed May 27 for Memorial Day
Non-emergency city facilities are closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Trash and recycling are unaffected by this holiday closure. Emergency services will operate as normal.
Chisholm Aquatics Center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

SRC Opening Party
June 6, 2024 | 6 p.m. Library Park 901 Precinct Line Rd.
Avast ye! Launch yer summer adventure with snow-cones, lawn games, and crafts for the whole family at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Park, followed by the high-energy music of Escape: A Journey Tribute Band at 7:00 p.m. Don't forget your lawn chairs or blankets! In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in Library Program Rooms North and South. The Hurst Public Library and Arts Council Northeast are proud to partner to bring you this year's MasterWorks concert series!
Challenge Accepted: Family Health and Fitness Day
June 8, 2024 | 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Chisholm Park 2200 Norwood Dr.
Bring the whole family and celebrate National Family Health & Fitness Day! We start with our 1-mile walk/run followed by fun games & challenges. Each 4-person team requires at least one adult 18 or over to participate. Everyone who participates on the day of the event receives a free one-day admission to the Hurst Aquatics Centers. Families who complete the entire challenge are entered into a drawing for a family season pass to the Hurst Aquatics Centers.

PALS/Basketball Camps
Now accepting applications!
The Hurst Police Department Community Services Division offers two youth activities for students enrolled in 5th and 6th grade in the coming fall; Hurst Police Activities League Summer (PALS) Camp and Basketball Camp. These camps are designed to promote responsibility and teamwork. Law enforcement officers are approachable, trustworthy mentors working directly with campers.
