The Democratic Party
-----------------------
Samuel --
Ten years ago, I was working in Iowa for a guy named Barack Obama
who had a pretty novel idea about how you win elections: neighbor by
neighbor, block by block.
I learned just how true it is that one voice can change a room, that one
room can change a city, and that one city can change the world. Creating
change has always started at the local level -- and that's why it's been so
encouraging to see the Democratic Party launch their Every ZIP Code
Counts strategy.
When Democrats compete and organize everywhere, we win.
That's how we took back Congress from the GOP in 2006, that's how
we elected Barack Obama as our President in 2008, and that's how we
got Doug Jones elected in one of the reddest states in the country this
past year. If we keep it up, it's also how Democrats will take back control
of Congress in November.
There's no doubt in my mind that the DNC is on the right track -- the only
question is whether or not enough people will step up to help Democrats
win. Contribute $3 today to support the DNC's organizing work as we kick
off 2018:

Back in January 2008, when President Obama won an upset victory in the
Iowa caucus, it happened for two reasons:
1) There was a powerful movement of people who believed that we could
bring about positive change in our country -- but only if we worked together.
2) We got more people involved in the political process. First-time caucus
goers, young people, and independents turned out in large numbers and
it made all the difference.
Here's the deal, Samuel: What happened back then is actually not that
different from what's happening today. People are ready for change and
they are prepared to be the ones who create that change.
That work starts now -- and with your help, we can take our fight to
all 50 states.
Make a $3 contribution today to support the DNC's 2018 organizing work.
We're counting on your support to elect Democrats nationwide this November:

I'm excited to see what this year brings. Thanks for being a part of it.
