“Louisiana Lawmakers Vote to Make Abortion Pills Controlled Substances”
– New York Times
Yesterday, the GOP-controlled State House in Louisiana approved legislation to criminalize abortion medication.
Making this safe, widely-used medication a criminal offense won’t stop abortion — but it will directly endanger women across the state by making it harder and more dangerous to access critical care.
We must stop the extremists behind this anti-choice agenda by protecting leaders like Maria Cantwell. Will you rush a donation now to keep Maria on the frontline of our vulnerable pro-choice majority? [[link removed]]
The Supreme Court will decide the fate of abortion medication access on a national scale next month, so we must be prepared to fight even harder for the right to make our own health care decisions.
We cannot let anti-choice extremists win. Let’s say with one unified voice that a majority of Americans support reproductive freedom.
Will you rush $10 or more to help protect Maria and our Democratic Senate majority? [[link removed]]If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
