While they are publicly
hand-wringing about democracy hanging in the balance, the DNC is
not-so-privately showing that their hypocrisy and doublespeak knows no
bounds. In the job listing, they want their “Project Manager” to
recruit people “for petition review and other legal-adjacent support
for potential ballot access challenges.” Going after Jill’s ballot
access after the heroic work of volunteers and supporters to achieve
that access is a grotesque subversion of democracy. It is time for
them to change their name, because they are anything but
Democratic.
Friend, we won’t be intimidated by
these dirty tricks and tactics. Jill’s campaign for people, planet,
and peace will keep fighting empire because it is imperative that voters like you across this country
have an anti-genocide, pro-peace, pro-worker, pro-choice, and climate
action candidate on their ballots in November.
The good news is we are very close
to submitting signatures in New York, which is the most difficult
state to get on the ballot. With just a few days left, we’re going all
out to get every signature we can. But we need everyone to keep
pushing until we cross the finish line.
