John, When I ran for governor, I knew that we could only do big things if we worked together in partnership toward shared goals. I learned first-hand that you can’t ask for a better partner in the work than President Joe Biden. In partnership with the Biden Administration, we’ve created momentum for more opportunities here in Maryland. We have the lowest unemployment rate in the entire country, and we are beginning to systematically address the racial wealth gap. We’ve created nearly 40,000 new jobs right here in Maryland and that wouldn’t be possible without President Biden. President Biden is rolling up his sleeves to fight for the American people. He faces a critical election this year, and when I think about the stakes of this election, I think about one word: Freedom. President Biden is working to expand our freedom for women to make their own health care decisions, for us to live in safe communities, and for us to have economic mobility.
