Katie joined military families at Luke Air Force Base for a roundtable discussion focused on education. During the visit, they celebrated Katie passing new legislation that created the Purple Star School Program, a new designation schools can apply for successfully supporting military-connected children.

A new bill signed by Katie adds Arizona to the Great Plains Interstate Fire Compact, a group of states that can share resources to combat wildfires.

As part of her work to restore and protect reproductive freedom in Arizona, Katie just signed an executive order expanding access to contraception — providing free and affordable birth control to more Arizonans.

Arizona Capitol Times: Hobbs signs bipartisan housing bills

Katie recently signed two bills that create more affordable housing for everyday Arizonans. In her written statement, she said this legislation will “expand housing options and help mitigate the effects of rising costs.”
