Hi team,

Today marks two years since the devastating school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. With 21 nurdered and 17 injured, it is the deadliest school shooting to ever take place in a Texas public school.

Thousands came together to demand reform and slammed Greg Abbott and Ted Cruz’s lack of action and accountability.

So where are we now?

In 2024, there have already been 10 school shootings in Texas, which is over half of all school shootings in the US so far.

Texas lawmakers have continued to oppose legislation that could have prevented this massacre and others like it. They’re against background checks and they adamantly oppose raising the minimum age to purchase a semi-automatic weapon.

So who holds them accountable? Simply put, we do.

We can’t let another Uvalde, Pulse, or Aurora happen ever again. No matter where the story takes place, the solution is always the same: We need gun reform NOW. Too many lives have been lost and nothing has changed.

Right now, I need you to stand with us and urge your state legislators to pass new and improved gun safety laws. We can’t wait for the next mass shooting to demand action. We have to do this NOW: [link removed]
