John – This week, we celebrated the 31st anniversary of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) being signed into law.
This legislation is a cornerstone of our democracy. It ensures eligible citizens have access to the ballot box. But voters across the nation still face outrageous assaults on their right to vote – and communities of color, disabled voters, and indigenous voters are among the most vulnerable.
We MUST take action to protect the right to vote, John. We can’t wait. Add your name today if you agree that we must fight to protect and expand voting rights:
We’ve seen conservative extremists go after voting rights time and time again. They implement strict voter ID laws, limit early voting, and purge voter registration lists to disenfranchise as many voters as possible.
These tactics are unacceptable, and the stakes couldn't be any higher.
We’ve said it before but it’s true: this election is the most important election many of us will ever vote in. We need each and every eligible voter to make their voice heard at the ballot box this year. I’m doing everything I can to protect and expand voting rights.
If you’re with me, will you sign the pledge today to join the movement, protecting and expanding voting rights across the nation?
Our democracy and the future of our nation depends on what happens in November this year.
As always, thank you for taking action today!
