[1]U.S. Senator Chris Murphy

There it is. Here’s what Donald Trump told the NRA at their convention:

“In my second term, we will roll back every Biden attack on the Second Amendment.”

Trump is promising to undo every bit of progress we've made on guns during the last four years, and our movement is the best chance we have to stop it from happening.

Please make a contribution right now to help me fight back. Every dollar supports my work to pass anti-gun violence legislation and elect gun safety champions.

Let me be clear: Not a single gun safety law is safe under a second Trump Administration.

This means undoing our historic 2022 gun safety bill, eliminating the first federal office dedicated to gun violence prevention, and more.

He believes any effort to end gun violence hurts the bottom line of gun manufacturers. He doesn’t care how much blood is on his hands. Trump is fine if more kids die in order to pad the profits of the corporate gun lobby. That’s just the price of business with Trump.

And what he can’t do himself, he will pack the courts with extreme right-wing judges who will do his bidding and overturn gun safety laws — including the strong state laws our movement has fought for from Connecticut to California.

It’s up to each of us to do everything we can to stop Trump and all of his NRA-backed allies from taking back the White House and Senate.

So I truly need your support. Please, if you can, make a contribution to help me continue leading our movement to end gun safety in Washington.

The progress we’ve made is just the start. Urban gun violence has already fallen by 20% in some cities.

Our 2022 gun bill is working, but we still have more to do — including universal background checks and restoring the assault weapons ban.

Every best wish,

Chris Murphy
