If we don't stop Texas in this moment, other states will follow. This is an attack on abortion — and an undue burden to place on people during a pandemic.
No one should have to wait for a pandemic to pass to access their constitutional right to an abortion, but providers are being forced to turn patients away. Not only does it endanger the patient, it undermines public health and actually will put more strain on our already-overwhelmed hospitals. And you and I both know that no one should be forced to have a child against their will.
Why do we need the Supreme Court to take immediate action? Here are four very good reasons:
