- Tuesday 9 April - beginning July: The works on Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham at its junctions with Pennyfoot Street and Fisher Gate are progressing with new traffic signals being commissioned and temporary signals removed in the next few days. Off peak lane closures will remain in place for another few weeks while the works around the junction are completed.Â

Starting Tuesday 28 May for 5 nights, road and pavement resurfacing works will be taking place on Thane Road between its junction with Bull Close Road up to and including the mini-roundabout that forms the junction of Thane Road/Abbeyfield Road and Lenton Lane.
Road closures will be required and will be in operation between 8pm â 4am:
- Access to businesses and facilities on Lenton Lane will be maintained from the A52 island.

Abbeyfield Road will be closed at its junction with Thane Road; access will be via Redfield Road.
- Traffic heading back south from the Redfield Road area on the A52/A453 should follow the diversion route via Dunkirk Roundabout.
- Access to Thane Road (west) should follow the diversion route along Clifton Boulevard (A52), A6005 University Boulevard/Queens Road East, Beacon Road, Humber Road South
- There will be no access to Thane Road from Bull Close Road
Works began on Tuesday 7 May on our Maid Marian Way scheme, a project being delivered using grant funding secured from Central Government through the Future High Street Fund programme.Â
So far this project is not causing significant disruption, but we ask you to allow more time for your journey through the area. Â
Lanes of the roundabout are closed with some pedestrian crossings also affected.Â
