Eric Hovde just announced that NRSC Chairman Steve Daines is coming to Wisconsin next month to headline a fundraiser for him — an event so exclusive, that tickets are going for up to $50,000.

Here’s the bottom line: Wisconsin’s Senate race could decide the balance of the U.S. Senate. Republicans know what’s at stake, that’s why the NRSC chairman himself is coming to Wisconsin to help Hovde flip Wisconsin red.

Look, this is bad news for our campaign. We’re already fending off millions of dollars worth of attacks from Hovde and his right-wing allies, and their ad blitz is clearly moving the needle among voters. Daines’ visit will only drum up more support for Hovde from right-wing extremists and big-money donors alike.

We have to be prepared to fight back. But while Hovde is relying on right-wing mega-donors and his own personal fortune to fund his campaign, Tammy is counting on grassroots supporters (like you!) who pitch in what you can, when you can to power our campaign.
