I was just doing some quick math about how we’re going to win this election, and I thought I would share it with you because it really demonstrates why your grassroots support is so critical.
This year, we’re defending 17 vulnerable SEEC climate champions. Our goal is to raise an additional $2,500 for each of them, that means we need to raise another $42,500 by our deadline.
But we only have until August before we have to write our checks. So with only 4 months to go, that means we have to raise $10,625 this month.
Here’s why it’s so important that we reach this month’s goal:
Our SEEC members in the most competitive races in the country are relying our support to have the resources they need to get their ads up, build their field programs, and stay competitive against millions of dollars being spent against them by Big Oil & gas companies (like the Koch Brothers family who just launched a seven figure attack campaign against our members!)
But if we fall short of our goal, we may not be able to support every vulnerable SEEC member or we will have to reduce the amount we’ve promised to these campaigns.
Thank you so much for your support,
David @ SEEC PAC
Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand. You can click here to only get our most important messages, or you can unsubscribe.
