We can be tough, and we can be fair, but we must bring order to the border.

Earlier, I was invited on CNN to discuss the upcoming Senate vote on the border bill. I have always focused on being a problem solver. Right now, I am working with colleagues across parties to find solutions on immigration. The answer: finding common ground to work together.

At a time when hyperpartisanship is consuming all our institutions, we need to figure out a way to move forward together.
