This week, PFAW friend and board member, Dolores Huerta, celebrated her ninetieth birthday!
The name Dolores Huerta has become a synonym for 'organizing.'
Dolores has been a tireless leader in the fight for labor rights and civil rights for everyone. For over six decades she has worked non-stop to improve the social and economic conditions of workers and her activism has greatly improved the lives of the Latino community, LGBTQ Americans, young progressive leaders and so many others across the nation. She is truly inspiring as one of the most effective civil rights leaders of our time.
