Democrats Praise Trump Energy Policies

While Americans suffer from the high cost of gas and unaffordable energy bills, Democrats try to claim victory for Joe Biden by misleading Americans into thinking Biden’s policies are responsible for record oil and gas production.

The production that we see today is because of past administrations, like the Trump administration, that approved more leases to produce fuel.

Say NO to Green Housing Policies

This week, I chaired a hearing on how green building policies are jeopardizing the American dream of homeownership.

Americans cannot afford zero energy homes, and the Biden administration’s solution is to force Americans to buy smaller homes and fewer appliances. My solution is to get the government out of the lives of Americans.

Joe Biden's radical green policies are killing the American dream of home ownership.

His war on energy means the cost to build a home has drastically increased and Americans are forced to sacrifice quality for affordability if they even can buy a home.

Southern Border Invasion

Every state is a border state because of Biden’s Border Crisis.

If the Senate would pass HR2 and secure the border, we can stop the invasion!

Biden’s open border policies have resulted in over 9.5 million illegal immigrant encounters across the nation—7.8 million at just our southern border.

We know of at least 1.8 million gotaways that could be terrorists, sexual predators, and drug or human traffickers.

Two Tiered System of Justice

The Biden DOJ unequally enforces the law to target the pro-life community.

I joined my colleagues in demanding answers from the DOJ on why they have not charged pro-Hamas protestors who disrupt religious services as they have pro-life prayer warriors who stand on a sidewalk praying a mother will choose not to abort her baby.

Bidenomics Wreaks Havoc on America

Bidenomics leads to Bidenflation that hurts already struggling Americans.

Over the last three years, Joe Biden’s economic policies have caused inflation to increase by nearly 20%.

It costs Americans $12,800+ more a year than it did before he took office. 

Stop Out of Control Federal Spending

America is $34.7 trillion in debt.

The first step to getting out of debt is to stop spending!

As we begin preparing for the appropriations process for FY25, I joined 9 of my colleagues in exercising oversight on the Biden administration as we work to defund every DEI program in the Federal Government.

Your tax dollars should never fund woke, radical, anti-American initiatives.

We need massive spending cuts, not business as usual from Washington.

Stopping Big Brother

On Thursday, the House voted on H.R. 5403 the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act which prohibits a central bank digital currency.

I’m proud to cosponsor and vote in favor of this bill to stop the Chinese Communist Party style surveillance tactic that Big Brother could weaponize against Americans.

Butcher of Tehran

I intentionally did not post about the death of Iran’s president because I don’t believe we should give any recognition to the man who slaughtered his own people or bankrolled terrorists.

However, that changed with the Biden administration’s disgusting decision to offer condolences to Iran.

The Butcher of Tehran showed no mercy to the people he had killed, and he deserves no mercy from us.

Protecting Access to AM Radio

On Thursday, we held a markup of the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act.

I’m proud to vote in favor of this legislation in the Innovation, Data, and Commerce Subcommittee to ensure Americans will still have access to vital emergency weather updates and uncensored conservative talk radio.

Biden is trying to force Americans into EVs, and EV manufacturers are trying to strip away AM radio receivers in their vehicles.

I’m fighting Biden’s EV mandates, but I’m also fighting to ensure you have access to the important programing, and life-saving programing, available through AM radio.

Thursday was South Carolina's 236th birthday!

From the mountains to the sea, we truly can say South Carolina – our home - is the greatest state in the nation.

Legislative Action

I cosponsored H.J.Res 152, Rep. Griffith’s resolution to eliminate the EPA’s new final rule, which forces legacy coal combustion residual surface impoundments to comply with excessive regulations found at active facilities.

I cosponsored H.Res. 1252, which honors the dedication and commitment shown by our emergency medical service personnel during National EMS Week.

I cosponsored H.R. 8421, Rep. Thomas Massie’s bill to abolish the Federal Reserve and all of its affiliated entities.

I cosponsored H.J.Res. 147, which indicates congressional disapproval of OSHA’s new proposed rule that tramples private property rights and fails to protect the safety of workers.

I cosponsored H.J. Res. 146, Rep. Nancy Mace’s resolution that would prevent Medicare and Medicaid offering services to illegal immigrants through DACA.

I cosponsored H.J. Res. 144, Rep. Andrew Clyde’s resolution that would block the ATF’s “Engaged in Business” rule, which would make the private sale of firearms illegal, from taking effect.

I cosponsored H.R. 8410, Rep. Andy Ogles bill that would prevent activist judges from issuing gag orders like we have seen used against Donald Trump in both criminal or civil trials.

In the District

Deputy Lucas Watts, the Oconee County Sheriff's Deputy who was shot in the line of duty late last year, has been released from rehab and returned home to his family. It's great to see the community welcome him back home. Deputy Watts, we are still cheering on your full recovery!

The Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting a regional Veterans Experience Action Center (VEAC) virtually to help connect veterans, family members, or caregivers with vital resources. The VEAC will be on June 11–13 from 10a–3p.
