West Sacramento, CA — Christopher Cabaldon’s campaign for State Senate announced that California Professional Firefighters (CPF) and the Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 have thrown their full support behind Cabaldon’s bid for State Senate District 3.
In making their endorsements, the presidents of CPF and Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 released the following statements:

Trevor Jamison, President of Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522, said: “Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 is proud to endorse Christopher Cabaldon for State Senate. Christopher has a proven track record of prioritizing public safety and ensuring our firefighters have what they need to get the job done. We are confident that in Christopher, our firefighters, and the communities we serve will have a capable champion in the State Senate.
The California Professional Firefighters (CPF) represents over 30,000 firefighters and emergency medical personnel across the state of California. Established with the objective of promoting better working conditions, improved safety standards, and the health and welfare of firefighters and their families. CPF is dedicated to the advancement of professional firefighting tactics and the promotion of safety and effectiveness in emergency services across the state.
Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 was founded in 1937 and represents over 1,900 firefighters across eight agencies including Sacramento Fire, Sacramento Metro Fire, Cosumnes Fire, West Sacramento Fire, Folsom Fire, Sacramento County Airport Fire, South Placer Fire and Lincoln Fire. 522 members provide comprehensive emergency response to their communities, including exceptional firefighting capabilities, technical rescues, and hazardous material response.
