John, Donald Trump just doubled down on his Big Lie.

In a recent interview, he said that “what happened” in Pennsylvania in 2020 was a “disaster.” He’s *still* claiming he won Pennsylvania four years later, even though he lost by over 80,000 votes.

John, the threat to our democracy is just as serious as it was on January 6, 2021.

Donald Trump continues to lie about the 2020 elections, and he’s already laying the groundwork to challenge elections in 2024 after we beat him at the ballot box.

And he’s got right-wing politicians doing his bidding in the House, Senate, and in states across the country.

I've worn the uniform and led Americans in harm's way. I've worked to defend our voting rights and democracy as a lawyer. I’ll be damned if we’re going to let Trump and his extremists succeed in their attacks on our democracy.

I first swore an oath to the Constitution as a 17-year old, and I'm just as committed today to protecting our democracy.
