Last night, I joined Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss Governor Youngkin’s veto of legislation that would have protected the right to contraception in Virginia.

Reproductive rights are on the ballot nationwide in 2024 and on the ballot in Virginia in 2025.

After the Dobbs decision, women across the country knew that this ruling was not just about abortion access. And they were right. Since then, we’ve seen attacks on IVF, contraception, and abortion rights.

As the next Governor of Virginia, I will sign into law legislation to protect a Virginian’s right to contraception — not veto it.
