Hi John, hotter temperatures are here, which means Team Delia is outside!
|
Seriously though – as the weather warms up, our team is more than ready to ramp up our efforts to tell folks in IL-03 about Congresswoman Delia Ramirez's reelection campaign!
Delia has spent her entire life fighting to better the quality of life of people in our community, first as the Executive Director of her local homeless shelter, then in the Illinois House, and now in Congress!
And since day one of her first term in DC, she's been a champion for our community's biggest issues: immigration reform, affordable housing, and good governance.
While we know she wants nothing more than to continue being the loud, unapologetic voice our community deserves, she needs your support against a MAGA extremist who's working their hardest to take her seat.
That's why, this summer, we're going to need your help to connect with as many voters as we can to share all the great work Delia has done for us.
But this won't be easy, or cheap, John. We're going to need a strong coalition of grassroots donors to get all we need to succeed – will you show your early support for Delia's reelection campaign with a donation today?

Delia Ramirez has dedicated her life and career to public service and advocating for working families. She is a deeply rooted community leader and public servant whose values are informed by her upbringing as the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants.
In 2022, Delia was elected to represent Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District and became the first Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. In just a few months in Congress, she has introduced legislation with bipartisan support to help student veterans, is co-leading the Dream and Promise Act, and is introducing legislation that gives tenants the right to organize. She serves as Vice Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Committee, and sits on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. She is also a Board Member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) PAC, and CPC Special Order Hour Convener.
Delia also serves as Co-Chair of the Strengthening Democracy Task Force, as well as Vice Chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus. She is a fighter who is determined to deliver for her constituents, and is working everyday to achieve equitable distribution of resources for Illinois infrastructure, clean energy, transportation, housing, healthcare, and jobs. She also advocates for federal resources so that Illinois may continue to be a welcoming state for new arrivals and asylum seekers.
