Hello John,

Asian elephants are under threat, partly due to the illegal trade in their skin.

This brutal trade means that the number of Asian elephants remaining in the wild is dwindling.
Are you able to make a gift to help us protect these magnificent creatures and other endangered species? ([link removed])

EIA has an impressive track record of working to protect endangered African elephants. We’re seen as an authority in the field. Our groundbreaking investigations into the illegal trade in African elephant ivory helped secure the international ban on ivory trade in 1989, and with the help of supporters like you, we’ve worked tirelessly ever since to fight the traffickers and protect African elephants from poaching.

We now need to better understand the threats that Asian elephants are facing, and push for stronger protections. Will you help us make this happen, before it’s too late?

With your support, we plan to investigate the market for Asian elephant products and reveal new data on the threats to these beautiful creatures.

By sharing what we discover, we can raise the alarm about the plight of Asian elephants, and put pressure on governments and law enforcement agencies to do more to protect them from being killed for profit.

Please share our Asian elephant appeal page ([link removed]) on social media to help spread awareness. (Just use the buttons below to share with your networks.)

If you have already given a donation or shared our appeal, thank you so much. Your support is vital to help us save endangered species such as the Asian elephant for future generations.
