We've got some serious work ahead of us over the next few months, Samuel,
if we're going to elect Democrats up and down the ticket in November.

The good news is that we've already got a head start on electing a Democratic
president -- thanks to everything supporters like you have done to help get the
word out about why each of the Republicans running for president would be a
disaster in the White House.

But as important as that is, it's not the only race we need to win on November
8th. Our next Democratic president needs to have a Congress that will function,
and that means we need to retire obstructionist Republicans -- whether it's the
Republican senators who are still collecting a salary (funded by your tax
dollars, Samuel -- the gall!) even when they refuse to hold a hearing on the
President's Supreme Court nominee, or the Republicans in the House who've
flat-out ignored President Obama's budget.

What we do now will lay the foundation for huge wins in November. And
because I know we take our responsibility of putting the future of our country
in capable hands very seriously, we're starting the Democratic Majority Fund
today -- so we can make sure Democrats at every level have the resources
they need to win on Election Day.

Will you pitch in $3 or whatever you can to help elect Democrats?
