Susie Greenberg running for Georgia State Representative - House District 53!

This is the top target race in the state and our best chance of replacing an anti-choice legislator in Georgia’s House of Representatives.

Georgia currently has a draconian abortion ban that criminalizes women and doctors. The state's failure to accept Medicaid expansion has caused numerous rural hospital closures, making access to healthcare even harder for all women. Georgia already has the highest rate of maternal mortality in the country, and the women of Georgia need a strong voice to represent them in the state legislature.

This is a purple district trending blue. President Biden, Senators Warnock, and Ossoff won their races in this district, and now it’s time to ensure that Susie wins as well. Will you rush $20.24 to support Susie’s campaign today?

Susie is running on a platform to restore women's rights and reproductive healthcare in Georgia, a state that currently has an increasingly dangerous abortion ban.

She has a 40-year history of fighting for women's healthcare and reproductive rights. Beginning in college in the 1980s, she was a patient escort for a reproductive healthcare clinic and worked through the decades as a strong advocate, including serving as a board member of Planned Parenthood Southeast and NCJW Atlanta.

Now, she is on the frontline of the fight to restore reproductive rights in Georgia.

Susie is running to unseat anti-choice Republican incumbent Representative Deborah Silcox, who has repeatedly failed to protect women and doctors in Georgia. This seat was gerrymandered to Deborah’s benefit after she lost to a pro-choice candidate in 2020. She then got elected once again in 2022 – winning by a narrow margin of about 5%.
