We at Brady are honoring the victims of the Uvalde, TX, shooting with action. That's why we set a goal to get 20,000 activists to respond to our assault weapons ban survey in the next 48 hours. Make your voice heard now. >>

Friend, tomorrow marks two years since a gunman armed with an AR-15 opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX, killing 19 students and two teachers.
Like the families in Uvalde, I am a survivor of gun violence — my mom was shot and killed opening the door to her home. That's why I'm resolute in my commitment to make sure no other families experience the pain and loss that gun violence survivors do every day.
But there's a reason why memorials like this one are so important, a reason why we must continue to remember gun violence massacres like the one in in Uvalde despite the pain. Because by remembering these tragedies and refusing to go numb, we have the power to move the needle on gun violence.
So please, join me by taking action as we remember the 19 children and two teachers killed: Please, will you respond to our survey right now? Raising your voice today will help us build a better, safer tomorrow.

As a gun violence survivor and mom, this epidemic is deeply personal for me. And I know that's how it is for the families in Uvalde and maybe for you, too, friend.
Whether or not your life has been personally impacted by gun violence, it can be incredibly tempting to tune out the news. It can feel easier to turn away and try to forget horrific shootings like the one at Uvalde. Sometimes I want to do just that.
But I know that we can’t ignore this crisis, because it’s not going away. And I know that it is only together that we will accomplish life-saving change in our nation.
That's why it's so important that people like you and me remain committed to this fight, even when it's hard, even when it's painful. I know that you'll do whatever it takes to keep our communities and our children safe from gun violence. That's why I'm asking, please, will you respond to our survey before midnight to honor the victims of the Uvalde shooting by taking action?
