Since becoming the Democratic nominee for Senate here in Maryland, we’ve received thousands of grassroots donations from folks who are ready to do whatever it takes to defeat Larry Hogan and keep this seat blue.
But here’s the thing: The GOP is celebrating, too.
Hogan is Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate for this race, and it’s going to be incredibly difficult to defeat him and the dark money super PACs behind his campaign.
Whoever capitalizes on this momentum right now will have a huge advantage in the weeks and months ahead, which is why we set an ambitious General Election Founding Donor Goal. Will you chip in a split donation of $10 between my campaign and Seth Moulton to make sure we hit it? [[link removed]]
Hogan’s victory is a win for the MAGA agenda.
Mitch McConnell got his guy, and now he sees an opportunity to flip this seat red, retake the Senate, and pass a national abortion ban.
But if we win in November, we’ve got a shot at defending our narrow Senate majority, which means we could restore and expand abortion rights, lower costs for families, and empower workers and unions.
It’s going to take all of the grassroots supporters who got us here — plus we need to bring even more folks into our nationwide coalition of support — to make sure we put Larry Hogan on blast.
Hitting our General Election Founding Donor Goal will give us the boost we need right out of the gate to spread our campaign message and set the record straight on Hogan. Can I count on you to become a Founding Donor right now by splitting a donation between my campaign and Seth Moulton? [[link removed]]
All eyes are on Maryland, and with the Senate majority on the line, they will be right up to Election Day.
So let’s get to work.
