John: thanks to the hard work of three out LGBTQ+ elected officials - State Representatives Heather Meyer, Susan Ruiz and Brandon Woodard - a dangerous anti-trans bill in Kansas was defeated. These brave leaders rallied the community and stood firm in the legislature to uphold the governor's veto, ensuring that gender-affirming care for transgender minors remains protected.
This victory is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when our community has strong representation in government. Our champions in Kansas have shown that when we have a seat at the table, we can make a real difference.
