Whether you’ve lived in Kansas all your life or you recently moved to the Sunflower State, you know there is something special about our people.

Friend,

Whether you’ve lived in Kansas all your life or you recently moved to the Sunflower State, you know there is something special about our people.

Amid the turmoil of COVID-19, I’m daily reminded of the neighborly, welcoming spirit displayed by so many Kansans. As we near Easter this Sunday, here are just a few stories of how our community is working together to defeat the virus and lift spirits.

Wichita State is helping in the battle against coronavirus ([link removed]) (Wichita Eagle)
Winfield company helps create parts for ventilators for COVID-19 patients ([link removed]) (KSN)

Teachers hold 'social distance' caravans for students ([link removed]) (KAKE)
Two Facebook groups organized by Wichitans are donating thousands of face masks ([link removed]) (Wichita Eagle)

These are just a few examples of the ways Kansans come together. While I know things can be tough right now, I hope that you can find encouragement through your family, friends, church and community.

Sincerely,

Rep. Ron Estes
