Hi John,

We've been working hard to make sure that Central Floridians have enough resources during this difficult time. Millions are facing unemployment and food insecurity across the country and we can't leave them behind.

Stimulus checks, unemployment insurance and small business loans will help immensely; but this crisis has exposed flaws in our system that we cannot turn away from. District 9 will undoubtedly need additional help in order to fully bounce back once this passes, and I am committed to fighting for it.

Still, I know that we will come back stronger and more united than ever before.

It is also crucial that our heroes on the frontlines -- nurses, doctors and health care workers -- have the personal protective equipment that they need in order to stay safe and protected from the threat of COVID-19. As they continue to risk their lives for us, it is important that they feel like they are being taken care of.

We are getting closer to flattening the curve and stopping the spread, but we have to do our part and follow CDC guidelines in order for this to work.
