I’m going to level with you: We’ve had a few weak fundraising days lately.

Days where we missed our goals.

Look — a bad day here or there isn’t going to sink us. A weak day or two is not the end of this campaign. We can make it up, and more often than not we do.

But when those days turn into weeks, and weeks into months… when we miss consecutive goals… that starts to have a serious effect on our ability to win this race.

Here’s why this is so important: We just put down $19 million in television reservations, an absolutely staggering amount of money. But it’s what we need to do to win in Arizona, one of the most expensive states in the country.

Gave me a bit of heartburn, I’m not going to lie.

Ruben and I check our fundraising every day because it’s emails like this, donations from folks like you, that are going to help us cover the cost of those advertisements. And I need your help if we’re going to turn around the few bad days we’ve had lately.

That’s why I’m writing to you today, and that’s why I have to make this request:

I need you to make a donation of $3 — that, or whatever you can afford — and help us get back on track and hit our goals. If we keep on hitting these goals, we will win this race. We will send Ruben to the Senate. And we’ll be one step closer to beating Trump, for good. Please.
