Here’s what you need to know: Earlier this year, the Biden-Harris administration finalized the strongest-ever pollution standards for new cars and trucks. Now, pro-polluter lawmakers are preparing to use the Congressional Review Act — a law allowing Congress to reverse rules set by a presidential administration via simple majority votes in the House and Senate — to overturn those protections.

The truth is, if we’re going to have a shot at blocking this disastrous plan, the environmental movement needs to show up in a major way right now — LCV is planning to direct thousands of messages to congressional offices, positive coverage for zero-emissions vehicles in the media, and hold hundreds of lobby meetings with our champions and wavering members of Congress.
