Dear John,
I’ve been talking a lot recently about the importance (and difficulties!) of getting hard-hitting videos out on social media, and how we’re fighting to get out the truth with one of our biggest voter engagement campaigns ever.
I am writing to share with you one of the “get out the vote” videos we’ve made to reach young people, including on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
It’s fun. It’s ridiculous. And it’s important. This is one of our favorite combos to put together, and it’s a key to our success.
We ask: Would you let other people make important decisions for you, like how much sugar goes into your coffee!? Having fallen for this a few times too many myself, as you’ll see in the video, we make the case... Why would you let someone else decide who leads your city, your state, or your country?
It’s the latest in our Voting 101 series. Check it out on YouTube here (or on TikTok here or on Instagram here) and then help spread the message by sharing it to your social media too -- especially if there are people in your life who might be planning not to vote this year.
Thank you for everything you’re doing to mobilize the vote.
